Yes, with the good portion of our weddings being outside of our home state- we definitely travel! Our packages include travel for the following states: Virginia, New York, Washington DC, Maryland, North Carolina & Tennessee. If you live in another area- it is just a flat rate of $1000 for travel anywhere in the continental US! Please contact us for international rates. We also do all of our travel booking- so you don’t have to worry about a thing!
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?
Every love story that we have documented has been different. No two couples are the same and therefore their photos are all unique. Not every couple has the same love language - some love to laugh, some to embrace and we will make sure to document you both as you are. The one thing that all of our couples have in common is that they are truly, madly, deeply in love with each other and they covet real, raw, emotional photos But to answer the question… from what our colleagues and clients have classified us as would mainly be documentary with an edge. With fashion being our background- we add a little bit of editorial flare into everything we do. We want to create images that will withstand the times, invoke feelings and tell a story. We love raw and emotional and love creating photos with a little drama. I will say we are not your typical wedding photographers. But that is what our couples are looking for… they don’t want ordinary because they are not ordinary.
DO YOU EDIT THE PHOTOGRAPHS YOURSELF?
YES! Post production for me is like I have curated all of the finest ingredients and now I get to cook. I LOVE it! It is where all of the moments come to life. I hand edit every single one that will be in your gallery, so that brings me to the next question…
WHEN DO WE GET THE FINISHED GALLERY?
Since we hand-edit every photo that will be in your gallery- the delivery time is 6-10 weeks. This may seem like a long time but it is because of the care and attention we put into each photo. Of course we will send you a sneak peek- but we also promise that it will be worth the wait!
DO YOU OFFER VIDEOGRAPHY?
No, we do not. We are photographers and that is our specialty. We focus all of our attention on one craft to ensure that we are the best at what we do. That being said- we have amazing referrals for you in regards to videography!
HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU DELIVER FOR A WEDDING?
This depends on the events of the day. We always say between 50-100 images per hour which is a huge range but it really depends. A small elopement without many events can render fewer while a traditional wedding may have many considering all of the events that there are to be photographed.
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Very important question- absolutely we do! This is a vital component to running a photography business. If your venue needs a copy of our insurance let us know and we will get the paperwork over to them directly.
WHAT DOES THE ONLINE GALLERY ENTAIL?
We create you a personal gallery that you can share with friends and family. There are no watermarks on the photos and you can create favorites and/or download the entire gallery in high resolution form. I also give you a print release with them so you don’t have to print with us- you can print anywhere your heart desires!
HOW MANY WEDDINGS A YEAR?
We only take a limited amount of weddings per year. This is to ensure the personal commitment to each and every one of our clients. Depending on the year we take between 10-20 weddings. We never book two on the same weekend and always allow ample time for travel, post production and early nights in before your wedding day.
WHO IS YOUR SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
It will always be Brittany at your wedding and a second shooter. S. Renee is behind the scenes a lot these days but she still makes appearances! I only use a couple second shooters and they are phenomenal. I only hire people that I trust and that have the highest skill level. These people own their own businesses and treat my clients like their own. Anyone that I hire for your wedding will be a seasoned veteran that will assist me with everything we need to make your day perfect.
